About Member Services
Member Services is located at the main entrance of the Campus Recreation Center and the Recreation & Wellness Center (East Campus Recreation).
Services provided include - program registration, membership, retail items, equipment checkout/rental, locker rental, general information.
To Apply for Campus Rec Membership
To apply for membership, bring your NCard to the Member Services desk and complete the Campus Recreation Membership Application. Children under the age of 16 need not purchase a membership, but must be included on the membership application to have access to facilities.
Payment options include cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover NCard, and payroll deduction (available to UNL employees).
You must be a full-time, permanent faculty/staff member with a 1.0 FTE to use the payroll deduction option. If you have chosen to pay with Payroll Deduction then you will be billed monthly for your membership(s) and locker(s).
Bi-weekly Paid Employees Note: If you are a UNL bi-weekly paid employee, the payroll deduction will occur during your second pay check of the month.
Membership Rates & Options
Memberships are valid for use at all facilities (Campus Recreation Center, Recreation & Wellness Center + Outdoor Adventures Center).
An active primary membership on the same account is required for a secondary membership to exist. Secondary membership eligibility: spouse, partner, dependent 16-25 years of age or anyone who receives primary care from the member. Dependents of primary member are free if 15 and under but must be included on the membership application and accompanied by the member at all times.

- Those not enrolled or paying student fees for any of the summer sessions (If paying student fees, a student is automatically enrolled in a summer membership with no additional fee.)
- Incoming freshmen not registered until the fall semester but who have completed New Student Enrollment and acquired their NCard.
- Students who graduated in May of the same year.
Study abroad or online students: Students participating in study abroad or online courses will need to fill out a UPFF fee form located at any of our facilities at the Member Services Desk. The complete form can then be taken to the Office of the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs for approval and the Campus Recreation portion of the fee paid in order to use the facilities.

Membership and Locker Cancellations and Refunds
Payroll deduction will be stopped or a membership paid in full will be refunded after a Membership and Locker Cancellation form has been submitted. You MUST cancel memberships PRIOR to the first day of the month to avoid being billed for the entire month. If you cancel AFTER the 1st day of the current month, you will be billed or pay for the entire month. If a member is restricted from physical activity by his/her physician, he/she may suspend his/her membership with written verification from his/her physician. Membership may be suspended with written verification of change in employment status by the University of Nebraska or a change in military status.
University of Nebraska employees affected by Reduction-in-Force may keep Campus Recreation membership for 12 months. Memberships must be paid in full. The options available are by the month or annual year.
