Financial Well-being is the ability to fully understand an individual’s current financial state. Financially well-off individuals set short- and long-term goals to achieve self-defined financial success. Below are resources students can use to improve their financial well-being.

Financial Well-being Ambassadors

Financial Well-being Ambassadors help students increase their financial literacy through mentoring, presentations, and online resources. Mentoring sessions are available in-person, by phone, or via email. Common session topics include spending plans, understanding financial aid, establishing credit, saving money, and debt repayment.

Husker Financials 101 is a step-by-step guide designed to help new Huskers feel confident navigating college finances at UNL. You’ll learn how to read your student bill, explore payment options, prepare for important deadlines, and find support when you need it.

Husker Hub

At Husker Hub, you can get assistance with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Form, scholarships, grants, student/parent loans, enrollment verification, student bills, and more. Husker Hub provides support and services for the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, University Registrar, Student Accounts, and Bursar’s Office.
