- Visually Inspect: frame, tires, handlebars, stem, brake pad wear, and chain for wear.
- Check and Secure: handlebars, headset, crank arms, seat post, wheel pedals, stem, and inflate tires.
- Check: brake pads, hub tension, brake levers, and bottom bracket.
- Lubrication: lube chain.
Basic Tune Up

If you have a change of plans and are looking for a refund request, please submit a cancellation and refund request that will be reviewed by an Outdoor Adventures staff member.
Student Support Fund
Outdoor Adventures programs are subsidized by student fees, but often involve additional costs associated with travel, equipment, services, and other logistical expenses, which can create barriers to participation for some students. This support fund is designed to help reduce these financial barriers and expand access to programs and services. Through generous donations to the Outdoor Adventures Student Development Fund, enrolled UNL students may apply for financial assistance to participate in Outdoor Adventures programs and services.
Students experiencing financial hardship or other barriers to participating in outdoor recreation are encouraged to apply.
