Safely dispose of medications on April 25 (and get free giveaways)

In support of Prescription Drug Takeback Day, individuals can drop off expired and unused medications from 10 a.m. to noon April 25, 2025 at a designated table in the Nebraska Union and Nebraska East Union. 

Whether you're cleaning out your medicine cabinet or just want to learn how to safely dispose of expired or unused medications, this is a opportunity to ask questions, pick up helpful campus health resources, and free giveaways. 

Co-hosted by Nebraska Medicine and Alcohol and Other Drug Education, the collected medications will be disposed properly to prevent both accidental poisonings and environmental harm.
