Intramural Points Policy

Intramural Athlete of the Year

The Intramural Athlete of the Year (male and female) will be awarded based on the cumulative results of all athletes participating in Athlete of the Year Activities. Please see the Intramural Calendar for a list of these activities.

Points in 'scoring' events (ie events where an invidual receives a score or time) will be percentile scoring and will be awarded to an individual based on how the individual did compared to the top score. Ex; Player A score 50 points, the champion scores 100 points, player A will receive 50 points (50/100*100) and the champion will receive 100 points (100/100*100). Points in head to head events will be awarded based on final standings. Champion=100, Runner-up=90, Semi-finalists=70, Quarterfinalists=50, etc.

World Games Events

The World Games Events promote community and inclusion through a diverse offering of sports and activities. Participants are encouraged to learn and understand the backgrounds and cultures of a variety of individuals taking part in these events. See the Intramural Sports calendar for a list of activities.
