The University of Nebraska is dedicated to student success and well-being. This page provides information on student problem gambling and outlines prevention methods to help students understand the addictive nature of sports betting and gambling in general.

Through the generous support of the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), the University of Nebraska is committed to sharing the latest insights and resources on problem gambling with our students.

The National Council on Problem Gambling is the only national nonprofit organization that seeks to minimize the economic and social costs associated with gambling addiction. NCPG is neutral on legalized gambling. The focus of this grant-supported work is to remain neutral regarding gambling while providing valuable education and resources to our students.
