CRAC Application

The Campus Recreation Advisory Council is made up of thirteen (13) student representatives and three (3) faculty/staff representatives.

  • Twelve (12) students selected by application and interviews from undergraduate students.
  • One (1) students selected by application and interview from graduate students.
  • The selection committee will consist of three (3) non-returning Advisory Council student representatives and will be overseen by one (1) advisor.
  • Three (3) faculty/staff representatives will be appointed from the following classifications: academic/administrative (1 member appointed by the Faculty Senate), managerial/professional (1 member appointed by the University Association for Administrative Development), and office/ service.

Eligibility

UNL students who are paying University Program and Facilities Fees (student fees) and have participated in Campus Recreation programs, services, and|or facilities are eligible to apply.

Meetings & Attendance

The Advisory Council meets bi-weekly on Tuesdays from 5 to 6:15 p.m. Additional meetings and|or committee meetings may be required. (Attendance is required at all weekly meetings.) In every meeting you will be expected to respond and contribute to other council members’ and/or Campus Recreation staff members’ ideas and thoughts. The council also has a one-day autumn retreat in September 2020 for which attendance is required.
