Group Rentals
Want to host your next student group gathering, staff development training, or birthday at our climbing facility? The new Climbing Center is a great place to take a group of people looking to have fun, experience something exciting, and learn more about themselves and the group.
University and community groups may rent the climbing wall for a facilitated group program. Group rental gives a group exclusive access to the climbing wall during a designated rental time. Reservations are preferably made at least 14 days in advance.
Our Parties and Gatherings Rates offer the opportunity for your group to get their fill of climbing. Our Rental rates are also listed in the table below. Visit the Outdoor Adventures Center, call us at 402-472-4777, or fill out our group program request form at the link below for more details.

Party & Gathering Package
All participants must be at least 5 years of age and complete a facility waiver.
One to two hours (depending on package) of access to climbing with:
- Staff dedicated specifically to your group's event
- Climbing orientation and instruction
- Climbing equipment
- Meeting space available (upon request)
- Tables, Chairs, Refrigerator, limited utensils, limited appliance use
- Set-up and clean-up
- While UNL Outdoor Adventures and Campus Recreation does not offer catering, we have partnerships with various vendors who offer great food options for your event. Let us know if you would like to have food at your event.
- Audio/Visual, Team Building Activities, Corporate Event, Facility Exclusivity, Lock-ins, Adaptive Programming, etc.
Availability
In order to protect accessibility for the students and members who support this facility and its programs, parties and gatherings are only available during non-peak time frames. This allows our staff to focus their attention on providing excellent service for your group. Non-peak times are before 3 p.m. and after 8 p.m. during the majority of the calendar year.
Some flexibility can be afforded to smaller groups depending on facility usage and event demands.
Release Form
All participants are required to complete a University of Nebraska Campus Recreation release form. Groups comprised of youth under 16 years of age must provide one (1) adult per five (5) youths.

Please note that organizations wanting programming or space will need to provide proof of current insurance with the University of Nebraska Board of Regents named as additionally insured prior to program delivery.
