Student Support Fund
Outdoor Adventures programs are subsidized by student fees, but often involve additional costs associated with travel, equipment, services, and other logistical expenses, which can create barriers to participation for some students. This support fund is designed to help reduce these financial barriers and expand access to programs and services. Through generous donations to the Outdoor Adventures Student Development Fund, enrolled UNL students may apply for financial assistance to participate in Outdoor Adventures programs and services.
Students experiencing financial hardship or other barriers to participating in outdoor recreation are encouraged to apply.

Cancellation & Refund Requests
If you have a change of plans and are looking for a refund request, please submit a cancellation and refund request that will be reviewed by an Outdoor Adventures staff member.
Cancellation, Refund, and Transfer Policy
All trip balances are due prior to the pre-trip meeting. Notice of registration cancellation must be in writing one (1) business day prior to the registration deadline in order to receive a refund. Refunds will be less 20% of the full registration fee as a cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued after the registration deadline. Requests to transfer from one trip to another will be considered a cancellation.
The Outdoor Adventures Center reserves the right to cancel all or part of a trip or program due to inclement weather, below minimum participation, force majeure, or any other circumstances beyond our control. In the event that a trip or program is canceled, efforts will be made to reschedule or refund the trip at the discretion of the UNL Outdoor Adventure program.
Medical Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation due to medical reasons and upon receipt of a written statement from a doctor attesting to your inability to participate in the trip, Outdoor Adventures will retain 10% of the full registration fee or $10.00, whichever is greater, as a cancellation fee. The remaining balance will be returned as a refund.
