QI GONG

Qi Gong, pronounced chee-gong, is an ancient Chinese exercise and healing technique that involves meditation, controlled breathing, and movement exercises. These classes will cover the basic concepts of Qi Gong: posture (stances), relaxed deep breathing, flowing movement, and a basic understanding of the mind-body connection. Classes are designed to cultivate body awareness, reduce stress, improve balance, and prioritize flexibility.

RESTORATIVE YOGA

Restorative Yoga allows your body and mind to rest and recharge. Emphasize rest and stillness in this restorative yoga practice.

SLOW FLOW YOGA

Slow Flow Yoga is meditative. It emphasizes peace and calm in body and mind. Poses are held longer, taking several rounds of breath in each pose. Slow Flow is accessible to lifelong and new yogis.

SOUND BATH MEDITATION

Embark on a journey to self-discovery through Sound Bath. This meditative experience allows the body and mind to be “bathed” in sound waves. The intention is to change and balance energy through various frequencies with crystal singing bowls that cultivate a state of harmony. Experience deep relaxation, an increased sense of well-being, expanded awareness, and inner peace.

YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, meditative version of the popular physical and spiritual discipline of yoga. In Yin Yoga, the poses are held for a long time, typically three to five minutes or longer. Poses target the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, as opposed to the muscles. As a result, the asanas are more passive holds, with little muscular engagement.

YOGA

Yoga is a spiritual practice that connects the mind, body, and breath through physical postures (asanas). Asanas are complimented with yoga straps, blocks, bolsters, and blankets. Breathing exercises and meditation take place to promote mindfulness and listening to the body.
