Course Details

Reflexology is a type of massage that involves applying different amounts of pressure to the feet, hands, and ears. It is based on the theory that your hands, feet, and ears are connected to certain organs and body systems. In this hands-on class, you will be able to identify the different zones of the feet and hands, what type/amount of pressure to apply, and the different techniques used to apply pressure. This modality can be used as a full service or be added on to your massage routine.

Lymphatic Facilitation

August 11, 2024
9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Campus Recreation Center
$200

Course Details

Lymphatic Facilitation (LF) is a light and gentle massage technique used to accelerate the removal of excess fluid that collects in tissues after trauma and inflammation. The application of LF expedites the transportation of fluids through interstitial spaces and the lymph system.

In this class you will learn techniques on how to facilitate this modality when needed in a massage session and learn about contraindications.

This could be a stand-alone treatment, or you can apply parts to a session to address specific areas.
