Golf Classes
  • On-line Registrations - Go to https://shopcrec.unl.edu to register on-line. A new account can be created in a few short steps. Returning accounts can retrieve a username and password by matching an email address.

Beginning Golf Lessons

Class is designed for beginning or novice golfers to learn the basics. Sessions will be held at a variety of locations. Access to transportation is required. Materials, green/driving range, and club usage fees are included in the class fee.

Athletic Training Basics

Athletic Training Basics is a non-credit class that teaches the basic skills needed to be an Injury, Prevention & Care staff member with UNL Campus Recreation. Topics covered include: first aid, measuring blood pressure, taping and wrapping, stretching, basic injury evaluation, and many more.

American Red Cross
Adult CPR, AED and First Aid Training

This course reviews and instructs procedures for adult choking and CPR training. Completed training provides a two-year American Red Cross certification. Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) is a device to supplement CPR when a victim has no evidence of circulation.

Ballroom & Country Dance

Learn the waltz, swing, slow dance, country two-step, Latin, and disco steps. Class instructor will adapt the types of dances taught according to the interest of the class. It is recommended that participants sign up as a couple.
