Rental Polices
Members, guests, and the general public are eligible to rent equipment
- Payment in full required at time of reservation/pick-up.
- Photo ID must be presented to rent equipment.
- A credit card number or active NCard account is required as a deposit for all rentals. In the event rented equipment is returned after the specified due date/time, late fees will be charged directly to the account.
- Cancellation/Refund Policy:
- Minimum 24 hours prior to pick up date - No Charge
- Less than 24 hours prior to pick up date (single day rental) - No Refund
- Less than 24 hours prior to pick up date (multi-day rental) - 2 Day Rental Fee
- Any cancellation after pick up date - No Refund
- Rented equipment must be returned no later than two (2) hours prior to the closing of Outdoor Adventures on the specified due date.
- Late fees will be charged for each item for each day in excess of the due date.
- Items which are not returned within 3 days of the due date will be charged for 3 days of late fees per item plus full replacement cost of the equipment.
- Failure to return rental equipment or pay for the lost/damaged equipment may result in one or more of the following:
- Suspension of rental privileges
- Suspension of Campus Recreation facility access
- Placing an academic hold on your registration and records
- Submitting case to UNL Police
General Information
Outdoor Adventures is located at the University of Nebraska Campus Recreation Center. (841 North 14th Street, just north of 14th & Vine Street intersection). The entrance to Outdoor Adventures is located on the east side of the Rec Center, next to the Military and Naval Science Building.
Campus Recreation welcomes persons with all abilities. Please inquire about the availability of accommodations for special needs. Campus Recreation accepts cash/check, NCard, Visa, and MasterCard.
