LEVEL 1- TOP ROPE CLIMBING CLASS
LEVEL 1 teaches the basic foundation of climbing wall techniques, equipment, policies, and procedures that are required to climb safely at the UNL Campus Rec Center. Climbing is a physical activity and gym shoes and exercise apparel is strongly recommended. Completion of class provides a one (1) year climbing certification. Level 1 certification costs $20.

ATTENTION: if you are under the age of 19 legally in Nebraska you are not eligible to sign a release form. A completed release form is required to pass our climbing classes, please come prepared with a completed minor release form. |

LEVEL 2- LEAD ROPE CLIMBING CLASS |

LEVEL 2 provides the foundation for an advanced technique which offers a more realistic outdoor experience on the indoor wall. This is the lead climbing certification for the climbing wall. Prior experience, and completion of the Level 1 certification, is required to succeed in this class. Climber is expected to lead a 5.9+ route with no falls to be eligible to pass. Completion of class provides a one (1) year climbing certification. Level 2 certification costs $30. |

Campus Recreation welcomes persons with all abilities. Please inquire about the availability of accommodations for special needs. Campus Recreation accepts cash/ check, Visa, MasterCard and N Card. Outdoor Adventure's headquarters is in the Campus Recreation Center, with outside access directly east of the main entrance. Space is limited in the Level I safety classes, registration should be done at least a day in advance. |
