About Member Services
UNL Campus Recreation allows access to all Campus Recreation facilities and programs. Facilities include: Campus Recreation Center; East Campus Activities Building; Mabel Lee Hall; Military & Naval Science Building; Fleming Fields; UNL Leadership Training Center & Challenge Course; 17th & Vine Streets Rec Area; 14th & Avery Rec Area; 19th & Vine Rec Area; East Campus Rec Area; and Selleck Rec Area. Programs include: Fitness & Wellness Services, Instructional Programs, Intramural Sports, Injury Prevention & Care, Sport Clubs, Massage Therapy, Outdoor Recreation, and Youth Activities. Certain services and programs may require additional fee payments for participation or may be limited to only certain member categories.

How To Apply
To apply for membership, come to either Campus Recreation office to complete the necessary forms. An employee should bring proof of employment (MUST HAVE OBTAINED an NCard at the UNL ID Card Office) and complete the Campus Recreation Membership Application to be a member. Children under the age of 16 need not purchase a membership, but must be included on the membership application to have access to facilities.
Membership Categories
Primary Members = UNL Students and UNL Employees
Secondary Members = UNL Student and Employee Spouses and Dependents (age 16-23)
Dependent Members = UNL Student and Employee Dependents (age 15 and under)
Payment Options for Memberships and Lockers
Campus Recreation accepts the following payment methods: Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, NCard.
Payroll deduction is available to UNL Employees for Faculty/Staff Primary and Secondary Annual Memberships and Annual Locker Rentals. You must be a full-time, permanent faculty/staff member with a 1.0 FTE to use the payroll deduction option. If you have chosen to pay with Payroll Deduction then you will be billed monthly for your membership(s) and locker(s).
Bi-weekly Paid Employees Note: If you are a UNL bi-weekly paid employee, the payroll deduction will occur during your second pay check of the month.
Photo ID Cards
All members 16 years and older are required to have a UNL NCard or Campus Rec ID card. We will also issue Campus Rec ID Cards to non-members to taking Campus Rec classes and other special groups using Campus Recreation facilities.

Membership and Locker Cancellations and Refunds
Payroll deduction will be stopped or a membership paid in full will be refunded after a Membership and Locker Cancellation form has been submitted. You MUST cancel memberships PRIOR to the first day of the month to avoid being billed for the entire month. If you cancel AFTER the 1st day of the current month, you will be billed or pay for the entire month. There will be a minimum charge of three months member fee for memberships cancelled during the first three months. If a member is restricted from physical activity by his/her physician, he/she may suspend his/her membership with written verification from his/her physician. Membership may be suspended with written verification of change in employment status by the University of Nebraska or a change in military status.
University of Nebraska employees affected by Reduction-in-Force may keep Campus Recreation membership for 12 months. Memberships must be paid in full.The options available are by the month or annual year.
